Join me for a visit to one of the farms in San Martin Jilotepeque that we have been purchasing coffee from for 4 years. The farm is managed by Juan Luis Barrios, a third generation farmer for his family. The above market prices we pay have enabled Juan Luis to invest in a new wet mill and patio areas with a separate section of African drying beds. Juan employs state of the art methods to care meticulously for both farms, Finca La Merced and Finca Retiro del Quisaya to produce exceptional coffees every year.
