This top quality Kenya AA is from the Giathugu factory which is located on the mountainous slopes of Nyeri, near Mt. Kenya.
Giathugu is a member of the Rugi Farmers Cooperative. It employs 639 men and women, and farms around 100 hectares.
Our coffee is fermented and fully washed up to 48 hours with fresh water from nearby Kagumo River before being sun dried. Coffees in this lot were grown at 2000 m above sea level and are selected from SL34,SL28 and Ruiru 11 varieties. These varietal contribute to the vibrant, berry-toned, highly sought after Kenya coffee.
